Nalo Ucero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zuberoa Vandoma having to interfere. Zuberoa Vandoma made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gartzen Villacian in the 11th minute. With his leg Zuberoa Vandoma managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Trigo AFC's Gartzen Villacian fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mazuste Galdamiz hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After 17 played minutes Garzon got a freekick which was hit by Marcial Ameda. When Nalo Ucero came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Trigo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nalo Ucero couldn't finish the play. In the 21st match minute, Trigo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ildefonso Gox to maneuver through the defense. Orland Cabero might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Naelio Ondategui. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Orland Cabero ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcial Ameda hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Demario Colsa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gartzen Villacian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Zuberoa Vandoma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orland Cabero might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Naelio Ondategui. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Orland Cabero ran back to his position shaking his head. If Orland Cabero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nalo Ucero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Trigo AFC's Naelio Ondategui proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Trigo AFC from getting a goal against them. Gartzen Villacian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Zuberoa Vandoma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Gartzen Villacian's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zuberoa Vandoma was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Zuberoa Vandoma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gartzen Villacian in the 76th minute of play. After 83 played minutes Garzon got a freekick which was hit by Mazuste Galdamiz. When the match had been going on for 93 minutes, Garzon's Jobo Ciriaca got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Naelio Ondategui. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Garzon walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
