He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ladrillos FC reached it. In the 16th minute Manex Urreche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cris Rotges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dagoberto Urbilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Garcia Balsera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Ladrillos FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Rioja Padron hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute of the match Jose Cobo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cris Rotges skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 30 minutes, Osasun Berriz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Curticeras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osasun Berriz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Dagoberto Urbilla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ladrillos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dagoberto Urbilla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Garcia Balsera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Osasun Berriz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cris Rotges read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Garcia Balsera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dagoberto Urbilla in the 44th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Francho Guijano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manex Urreche made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Ladrillos FC's zone, Manex Urreche stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cris Rotges came out of the goal and Manex Urreche tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lalla Sorzano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lalla Sorzano in the 62nd minute of play forced Curticeras's goalkeeper Garcia Balsera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cayetano Riego kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Cris Rotges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manex Urreche in the 68th minute of the match. Cris Rotges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manex Urreche in the 69th minute of play. When Pepito Gambo fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Curticeras's protests and gave Pepito Gambo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Curticeras getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Pepito Gambo hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the match, Ladrillos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manex Urreche came free, but Cris Rotges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Garcia Balsera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lalla Sorzano, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Lalla Sorzano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Lalla Sorzano came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Ladrillos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lalla Sorzano couldn't finish the play. Garcia Balsera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lalla Sorzano in the 96th minute of play. The Ladrillos FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
