Mataojito's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Salta FC the free kick. Cesar Trespuentes hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lordi Peruyera was the one to do the kick off. Lordi Peruyera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Heitor Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xines Horihuela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mingo Ariztimuño in the 56th minute of the match. The supporters of Salta FC booed when Mataojito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Telesforo Arcas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Salta FC's Mingo Ariztimuño got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. But to his dismay, Mingo Ariztimuño quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Xines Horihuela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspar Longoria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
