Siro Terron's late challenge caught a Ladrillos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Siro Terron helped the player get up and apologised. In the 3rd match minute, Salta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siro Terron to maneuver through the defense. Cris Rotges stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raebert Valcarcel's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. The supporters of Salta FC booed when Ladrillos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cayetano Riego didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cris Rotges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raebert Valcarcel in the 11th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Raebert Valcarcel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cris Rotges was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. If Raebert Valcarcel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, Salta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cayetano Riego came free, but Heitor Faria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Heitor Faria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dagoberto Urbilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. When Ladrillos FC's Dagoberto Urbilla in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 33rd minute Mingo Ariztimuño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cris Rotges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Ladrillos FC defense, Mingo Ariztimuño kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cris Rotges. The Ladrillos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cris Rotges should have stopped the shot. After 41 minutes, Raebert Valcarcel made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Ladrillos FC's Cris Rotges tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 45 minutes into the match, Salta FC's Raebert Valcarcel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cris Rotges narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lalla Sorzano to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Ladrillos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rioja Padron to maneuver through the defense. Cris Rotges made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Mingo Ariztimuño sent off a good shot on target. Salta FC's Raebert Valcarcel got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Ladrillos FC's zone, Mingo Ariztimuño stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cris Rotges came out of the goal and Mingo Ariztimuño tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Heitor Faria came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Ladrillos FC's Dagoberto Urbilla. But to his dismay, Dagoberto Urbilla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Cris Rotges came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Salta FC's Raebert Valcarcel. But to his dismay, Raebert Valcarcel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 94th minute, Lalla Sorzano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Salta FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ladrillos FC.
