Spectators: 6720 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Muno Forteza kicked off to start the match. Varese's Mingo Oliveros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sesuldo Caniego in the 6th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Varese's Maraman Rufrancos got a free kick in the 12th minute. Mingo Oliveros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sesuldo Caniego, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The supporters of Varese booed when Cabellos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yago Espineiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 21 played minutes Cabellos got a freekick which was hit by Checa Mena. In the 23rd minute, Yago Espineiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th match minute, Varese was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Varga to maneuver through the defense. If Zxavian Vianes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zxavian Vianes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mingo Oliveros having to interfere. After having played for 30 minutes, Zxavian Vianes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cabellos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zxavian Vianes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mingo Oliveros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zxavian Vianes, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Illan Cines during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mingo Oliveros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zxavian Vianes in the 35th minute of play. Sesuldo Caniego sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sesuldo Caniego might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mingo Oliveros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sesuldo Caniego ran back to his position shaking his head. 39 minutes into the match, Varese's goal looked a bit too open when Zxavian Vianes came free, but Mingo Oliveros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Checa Mena's late challenge caught a Varese's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Checa Mena helped the player get up and apologised. When Varese's Muno Forteza in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cabellos's goalie prevented a goal.

After having played for 53 minutes, Muno Forteza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zxavian Vianes might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mingo Oliveros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zxavian Vianes ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Varese booed when Cabellos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beturian Tipular didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cabellos's Baumer Pescaredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Muno Forteza in the 77th minute of play. Zxavian Vianes struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Mingo Oliveros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cabellos. Mingo Oliveros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zxavian Vianes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Varese's Muno Forteza got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cabellos eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
