Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Claudio Udobro started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Quintan Govantes hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute, Claudio Udobro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Estefan Oteo. The goal made the score 1-0. After a rather tough play, Carmen's Delmar Menoyo got a free kick in the 9th minute. Indar Hernainz was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 10th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After having played for 16 minutes, Claudio Udobro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carmen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudio Udobro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rogerio Cuervo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodney Carnero, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 19th match minute, C.A Peñarol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Grolet to maneuver through the defense. Rogerio Cuervo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Indalecio Telego in the 28th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Tobias Nicola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodney Carnero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogerio Cuervo having to interfere. 33 minutes into the game, Claudio Udobro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Estefan Oteo. Claudio Udobro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 39 minutes into the match, C.A Peñarol's goalkeeper Estefan Oteo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bonifacio Santayana. In the 49th minute, Indar Hernainz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Carmen's Rogerio Cuervo didn't even have to move. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Indalecio Telego stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 56 played minutes, Carmen's Castulo Vasallo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Estefan Oteo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Carmen reached it. 59 minutes into the match, C.A Peñarol's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Udobro came free, but Estefan Oteo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute, Tobias Nicola fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Indalecio Telego fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Rodney Carnero, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 65 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Rogerio Cuervo was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 70th minute Claudio Udobro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Estefan Oteo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Estefan Oteo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bonifacio Santayana in the 75th minute of play. Rogerio Cuervo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodney Carnero in the 83rd minute. 86 minutes into the game, Delmar Menoyo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carmen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A Peñarol the free kick. A collision led to Carmen getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Delmar Menoyo hit a great ball. Indalecio Telego fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogerio Cuervo having to interfere. In the 89th match minute, Carmen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evarado Gago to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodney Carnero got free with Rogerio Cuervo in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Indalecio Telego fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogerio Cuervo having to interfere. Carmen's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
