Kiyu FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulizes Delatorre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lawrence Tato breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Castel Bazan kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Ignado Anievas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Lawrence Tato skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 28 minutes into the game, Bela Rogel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Scavino's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kiyu FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Scavino's Bela Rogel got a free kick in the 28th minute. Damario Adrian hit a great ball. 32 minutes into the match, Scavino's goalkeeper Lawrence Tato had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ignado Anievas. Frantzes Cirion stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luisito Sever's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute, Zernin Mendizabal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 37 minutes into the game, Peio Faria was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Scavino's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kiyu FC the free kick. In the 37th match minute, Scavino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peio Faria to maneuver through the defense. After 40 played minutes Scavino got a freekick which was hit by Bela Rogel. Ulizes Delatorre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ignado Anievas got free with Lawrence Tato in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luisito Sever was the one to do the kick off. Zernin Mendizabal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Scavino's goalkeeper Lawrence Tato, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Kiyu FC's zone, Luisito Sever stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frantzes Cirion came out of the goal and Luisito Sever tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ignado Anievas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lawrence Tato having to interfere. Ignado Anievas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Lawrence Tato tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Ulizes Delatorre made a precise shot to the right of Lawrence Tato. Scavino's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. If Ulizes Delatorre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tono Toraño fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kiyu FC's protests and gave Tono Toraño a yellow card for diving instead. Tono Toraño kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Kiyu FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
