Spectators: 6702 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1702, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Confesor Colombres started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Esperanza AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Cardeiro came free, but Maties Vidales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 4 played minutes Esperanza AFC got a freekick which was hit by Alesander Bengoechea. Maties Vidales made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Cardeiro in the 7th minute of play. In the 9th minute Veremundo Altemiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maties Vidales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esperanza AFC's Mingo Cunyat got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 29 minutes into the game, Buricayupi's Veremundo Altemiz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maties Vidales made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Godofredo Caballol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Confesor Colombres in the 32nd minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Veremundo Altemiz made a kick off. Mingo Cunyat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Godofredo Caballol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mingo Cunyat in the 60th minute of play forced Buricayupi's goalkeeper Godofredo Caballol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 64 minutes, Veremundo Altemiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buricayupi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Veremundo Altemiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ramiro Cardeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Maties Vidales showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Veremundo Altemiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 70th minute, Ramiro Cardeiro made a precise shot to the right of Maties Vidales. Esperanza AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. When Esperanza AFC's Mingo Cunyat in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Buricayupi's goalie prevented a goal. Maties Vidales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Veremundo Altemiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Buricayupi's Maties Vidales threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Veremundo Altemiz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ramiro Cardeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ramiro Cardeiros short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Maties Vidales to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Buricayupi had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
