Lekubegi Llanderas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute Xzavion Jesus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gutxi Bernalda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xzavion Jesus charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xzavion Jesus was the one to do the kick off. After 83 played minutes Santiago AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bieito Valines. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Severiano Gallegos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santiago AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Severiano Gallegos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gutxi Bernalda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
