Maximiliano Ondovilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baladi Fortes, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Paulino Payueta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baladi Fortes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulino Payueta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulino Payueta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Fix Verastegui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gogo Zapico succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 30th playminute. Baladi Fortes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Ondovilla having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, GitHub FC's goal looked a bit too open when Baladi Fortes came free, but Maximiliano Ondovilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute, Dalmai Jara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximiliano Ondovilla was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Baladi Fortes made the kick off in the second half. Maximiliano Ondovilla came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Espinillo AFC's Dalmai Jara. But to his dismay, Dalmai Jara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After 61 played minutes Espinillo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Baladi Fortes. Paulino Payueta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Fix Verastegui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Tab Mutiloa fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GitHub FC's protests and gave Tab Mutiloa a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Espinillo AFC booed when GitHub FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tab Mutiloa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Espinillo AFC's Fix Verastegui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Payueta in the 73rd minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Paulino Payueta notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Espinillo AFC's Fix Verastegui. Fix Verastegui was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. GitHub FC's Paulino Payueta got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gogo Zapico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Fix Verastegui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 84 played minutes GitHub FC got a freekick which was hit by Tab Mutiloa. The audience was convinced that Baladi Fortes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maximiliano Ondovilla was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Maximiliano Ondovilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baladi Fortes in the 88th minute of the match. Gogo Zapico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
