In the 39thth minute of the game Faustino Fernandez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but I.D Palermo's Inacio Calona was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Menafra FC's Sendoa Zumalburu got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sanduru Barroso to strike the kick off in the second half. In a very dangerous position, a player in Menafra FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 51st minute. Penalty! Inacio Calona was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Txordon Enestrosa helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of I.D Palermo booed when Menafra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position.
