But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Quejana couldn't finish the play. Rodolfo Novo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jokin Abel, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Bertin Vizcaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvadore Mendez having to interfere. Salvadore Mendez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertin Vizcaya, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Salvadore Mendez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertin Vizcaya in the 29th minute of the match. Perpinya Bulnes kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Chamizo AFC's Nicanor Moral tried to score from far away in the 40th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Perpinya Bulnes hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. If Jorge Quejana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bertin Vizcaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvadore Mendez having to interfere. After the first half Pintos were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gartxot Sandino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tonete Largacha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Salvadore Mendez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gartxot Sandino in the 54th minute of play. Salvadore Mendez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gartxot Sandino's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. In the 66th match minute, Chamizo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fix Echeguren to maneuver through the defense. Salvadore Mendez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bertin Vizcaya in the 68th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Pintos's Bertin Vizcaya sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Salvadore Mendez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bertin Vizcaya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bertin Vizcaya's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Salvadore Mendez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gartxot Sandino in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Salvadore Mendez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bartuelo Siles's late challenge caught a Pintos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bartuelo Siles helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st minute, Bartuelo Siles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Perpinya Bulnes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pintos's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
