If Quilo Real had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ospin Roman made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Quilo Real sent off a good shot on target. Ospin Roman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sidoro Vuelva showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. In the 24th minute of the match, Bernabe Catala tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ospin Roman saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 27 minutes into the game, Alvar Correa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ospin Roman. Alvar Correa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After 34 played minutes La Barbuda got a freekick which was hit by Quique Presilla. Bernabe Catala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Ospin Roman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sidoro Vuelva hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Jorge Seré made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rexino Canseco in the 43rd minute of play. If Rexino Canseco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The audience was convinced that Bernabe Catala's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ospin Roman was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernabe Catala in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ospin Roman saved La Barbuda from getting behind. 5-0 became the score in the 83rd minute when Cloyo Salgueiro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Txaran Moya hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match.
