When Clodio Pineda came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Ferreira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clodio Pineda couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 67th minute of the game. One of Ferreira:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Atlantida FC:s goal. Rai Gallinas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clodio Pineda in the 72nd minute. A collision led to Atlantida FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Mariano Boces hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Atlantida FC's zone, Pascual Manzanal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rai Gallinas came out of the goal and Pascual Manzanal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86th minute Pascual Manzanal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rai Gallinas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clodio Pineda's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rai Gallinas firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascual Manzanal in the 88th minute of play forced Atlantida FC's goalkeeper Rai Gallinas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clodio Pineda got free with Rai Gallinas in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 94 minutes into the match, Ferreira's goal looked a bit too open when Eztebe Emesabel came free, but Silvino Ripol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ferreira players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Atlantida FC.
