Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Candido Collador in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fidensio Zaldivar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Lavalleja's Perez Cantalapiedra slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bidun Oznayo. That made the score 1-0 after 13 minutes of play. Lavalleja's Perez Cantalapiedra got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Perez Cantalapiedra in the 18th minute of play forced Hacha y tiza F.C's goalkeeper Bidun Oznayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st match minute, Lavalleja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roegelio Figueruel to maneuver through the defense. Fidensio Zaldivar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Candido Collador, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Cesare Cianci took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fidensio Zaldivar. Lavalleja's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Candido Collador in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fidensio Zaldivar saved Lavalleja from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roegelio Figueruel during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Lavalleja getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Roegelio Figueruel hit a great ball. If Candido Collador had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 35 minutes, Cesare Cianci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hacha y tiza F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cesare Cianci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th minute Perez Cantalapiedra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bidun Oznayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cesare Cianci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidensio Zaldivar having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Cesare Cianci made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Roegelio Figueruel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bidun Oznayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Perez Cantalapiedra in the 58th minute of play forced Hacha y tiza F.C's goalkeeper Bidun Oznayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Walme Merida hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The supporters of Hacha y tiza F.C booed when Lavalleja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flor Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Hacha y tiza F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Flor Rubio came free, but Bidun Oznayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Candido Collador charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Candido Collador the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Lavalleja booed when Hacha y tiza F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Candido Collador didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bidun Oznayo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Perez Cantalapiedra, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Bidun Oznayo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Perez Cantalapiedra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Walme Merida came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Lavalleja fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walme Merida couldn't finish the play. Lavalleja were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Hacha y tiza F.C for a fine match.
