A hard shot 21 in the game by Aristides Puigdellivol from a close distance when the talented Romano Urquiaga managed to make a qualified save. Trinidad's players were relieved. Cloyo Sarricolea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Ranolfo Tapia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Aristides Puigdellivol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 29 minutes, Vasco Mareide managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trinidad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vasco Mareide was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cloyo Sarricolea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vasco Mareide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ranolfo Tapia having to interfere. After the first half Trinidad were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vasco Mareide to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Aristides Puigdellivol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cloyo Sarricolea scored 0-2 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ranolfo Tapia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ranolfo Tapia made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Cloyo Sarricolea sent off a good shot on target. If Cloyo Sarricolea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aristides Puigdellivol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Romano Urquiaga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Vasco Mareide took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Ranolfo Tapia to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Yacot FC's Imanol Farell got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 95th match minute, Yacot FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquilino Valluerca to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yacot FC's goalkeeper Ranolfo Tapia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Trinidad walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
