Spectators: 6705 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1705, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Diogo Villalpando kicked off to start the match. Diogo Villalpando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidensio Zaldivar having to interfere. In the 6th minute, Diogo Villalpando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Urre Vialpando kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lavalleja's goalkeeper Fidensio Zaldivar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 9th match minute, Lavalleja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roegelio Figueruel to maneuver through the defense. Aristides Puigdellivols short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Fidensio Zaldivar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Yacot FC booed when Lavalleja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filomeno Termiñon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diogo Villalpando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 22 played minutes Lavalleja got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Termiñon. 42 minutes into the game, Lavalleja's Walme Merida nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ranolfo Tapia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Walme Merida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ranolfo Tapia having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Perez Cantalapiedra to make the kick off. Lavalleja's Walme Merida got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Yacot FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Prudentio Vivera hit a great ball. Aristides Puigdellivol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Fidensio Zaldivar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roegelio Figueruel's late challenge caught a Yacot FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roegelio Figueruel helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Yacot FC booed when Lavalleja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roegelio Figueruel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fidensio Zaldivar came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Yacot FC's Aristides Puigdellivol. But to his dismay, Aristides Puigdellivol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Yacot FC's zone, Walme Merida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ranolfo Tapia came out of the goal and Walme Merida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th minute, Diogo Villalpando made a precise shot to the right of Fidensio Zaldivar. Lavalleja's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 79th minute Diogo Villalpando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidensio Zaldivar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fidensio Zaldivar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diogo Villalpando's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Lavalleja's Fidensio Zaldivar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diogo Villalpando in the 82nd minute of play. Diogo Villalpando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Yacot FC's goalkeeper Ranolfo Tapia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Walme Merida. Lavalleja's Walme Merida got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ranolfo Tapia was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Walme Merida showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 92 minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
