After a rather tough play, Machado AFC's Vennancio Santamaria got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Arnoldo Melon's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Florencio Galdamez firmly grabbed it by the left post. Arnoldo Melon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Florencio Galdamez having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quintan Menoyo in the 6th minute of play forced Machado AFC's goalkeeper Florencio Galdamez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Quintan Menoyo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Florencio Galdamez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Quintan Menoyo in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florencio Galdamez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Timoteo Cepeda struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Fidensio Cimbrelo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Machado AFC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jesco Bierna during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Aguila getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Jesco Bierna hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Timoteo Cepeda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Machado AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Timoteo Cepeda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fidensio Cimbrelo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fernanco Sota's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fidensio Cimbrelo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Arnoldo Melon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Quintan Menoyo in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Florencio Galdamez saved Machado AFC from getting behind. In the 45th match minute, Aguila was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ugutz Landaluce to maneuver through the defense. Macario Boreyta struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Fidensio Cimbrelo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Machado AFC. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Timoteo Cepeda to make the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Quintan Menoyo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Machado AFC's Florencio Galdamez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Florencio Galdamez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quintan Menoyo in the 56th minute of play. If Arnoldo Melon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Quintan Menoyo, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 58 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Florencio Galdamez was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. A collision led to Machado AFC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Bizi Acaro hit a great ball. Florencio Galdamez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Quintan Menoyo's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Florencio Galdamez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quintan Menoyo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Quintan Menoyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Quintan Menoyo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aguila's supporters rose to their feet, but Quintan Menoyo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florencio Galdamez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Aguila's Quintan Menoyo in 82 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Florencio Galdamez guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Aguila's Fidensio Cimbrelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timoteo Cepeda in the 88th minute of play. Arnoldo Melon struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Florencio Galdamez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aguila. In the 93rd minute of the match Arotza Gracia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Florencio Galdamez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Fidensio Cimbrelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timoteo Cepeda, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Jesco Bierna kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
