Cerrezuelo's Benino Lombana got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dei Mazarredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haritzeder Islañana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th match minute, Novillos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorencio Vandoma to maneuver through the defense. Haritzeder Islañana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dei Mazarredo having to interfere. After 20 minutes of play, Cerrezuelo's Benino Lombana made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dei Mazarredo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 23rd minute, Benino Lombana ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dei Mazarredo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Lorencio Vandoma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Ason having to interfere. If Benino Lombana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Cerrezuelo's zone, Lorencio Vandoma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Ason came out of the goal and Lorencio Vandoma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benino Lombana struck a weak shot in the 49th minute. Dei Mazarredo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cerrezuelo. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Haritzeder Islañana was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Novillos defense, Haritzeder Islañana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dei Mazarredo. The Novillos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dei Mazarredo should have stopped the shot. Dei Mazarredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benino Lombana in the 59th minute of the match. Dei Mazarredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haritzeder Islañana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, Benino Lombana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dei Mazarredo. Novillos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benino Lombana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 73rd minute, Lorencio Vandoma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute of the match Americo Barruso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dei Mazarredo skillfully saved the ball. If Haritzeder Islañana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute Haritzeder Islañana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dei Mazarredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benino Lombana in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dei Mazarredo saved Novillos from getting behind. Haritzeder Islañana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Dei Mazarredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Haritzeder Islañana might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dei Mazarredo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Haritzeder Islañana ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Novillos's Harri Turres got a free kick in the 90th minute. When Haritzeder Islañana came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Cerrezuelo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haritzeder Islañana couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Caton Buruaga during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Novillos getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Caton Buruaga hit a great ball. Iraunkor Llordes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
