The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of RedBull booed when Caraballo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermelando Fondos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, RedBull's Simon Gox got a free kick in the 4th minute. RedBull's Lapurdi Villodas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tino Herrador in the 8th minute of play. Pastor Vigalondo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Estebe Gualda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind RedBull's goalkeeper Lapurdi Villodas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rodolfo Urtueta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Pastor Vigalondo made a huge save. In the 20th minute, Rodolfo Urtueta reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pastor Vigalondo. The goal made the score 1-0. Rodolfo Urtueta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Estebe Gualda might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pastor Vigalondo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Estebe Gualda ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 32nd minute, Senon Benero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lapurdi Villodas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Estebe Gualda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eli Castellon hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodolfo Urtueta got free with Pastor Vigalondo in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Estebe Gualda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pastor Vigalondo having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Estebe Gualda in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pastor Vigalondo saved Caraballo FC from getting behind. In the 45th match minute, RedBull was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Urtueta to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Tino Herrador managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caraballo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tino Herrador was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lapurdi Villodas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Veronica Valdero kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Pastor Vigalondo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodolfo Urtueta's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. After a rather tough play, Caraballo FC's Eron Oruña got a free kick in the 67th minute. Elias Aneutes kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Senon Benero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Lapurdi Villodas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Estebe Gualda in the 75th minute of play forced Caraballo FC's goalkeeper Pastor Vigalondo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute RedBull were awarded a corner. Lizbeth Villafuentes went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Lizbeth Villafuentes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pastor Vigalondo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Senon Benero got free with Lapurdi Villodas in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the RedBull defense, Senon Benero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lapurdi Villodas. The RedBull fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lapurdi Villodas should have stopped the shot. Pastor Vigalondo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Estebe Gualda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Senon Benero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Caraballo FC's zone, Estebe Gualda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pastor Vigalondo came out of the goal and Estebe Gualda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Caraballo FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
