In the 30th match minute, Valentines FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florencio Echague to maneuver through the defense. Godofredo Boces fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fagondo Pallar having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Valentines FC's Florencio Echague got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute, Boni Mensa sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Valentines FC's Fagondo Pallar didn't even have to move. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Rameriz Miel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valentines FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rameriz Miel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niolaao Mallo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xaver Barroiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 49th minute, Florencio Echague got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Pedernal were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
