The supporters of Máquina Tricolor booed when Cordon AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Avellana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ezkerra Vianes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xalvador Garaizabal having to interfere. Donio Valdero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Isusko Baeza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas Oñate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Cordon AFC's Isusko Baeza threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Donio Valdero, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With his leg Isusko Baeza managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when Cordon AFC's Lucas Oñate fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Donio Valdero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cordon AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Donio Valdero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isusko Baeza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 38 played minutes, Cordon AFC's Felix Avellana shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Isusko Baeza came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cordon AFC reached it. Máquina Tricolor's Isusko Baeza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donio Valdero in the 40th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Máquina Tricolor's Beliran Casiano got a free kick in the 47th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ezkerra Vianes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Máquina Tricolor's zone, Donio Valdero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isusko Baeza came out of the goal and Donio Valdero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Lucas Oñate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Donio Valdero put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Isusko Baeza. Beliran Casiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xalvador Garaizabal having to interfere. Lucas Oñate received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Isusko Baeza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cordon AFC's Donio Valdero got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isusko Baeza came out of the goal and Lucas Oñate tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xurde Meleon charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xurde Meleon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Lucas Oñate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucas Oñate received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Isusko Baeza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ezkerra Vianes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Beliran Casiano was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 93rd minute. Máquina Tricolor's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance.
