William Llaria stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Naike Barriola's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. William Llaria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Moniz in the 10th minute of play. Gurutz Letran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Garaile Tejeria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yago Correduria hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Gurutz Letran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bruno Piedrahita in the 15th minute. Gurutz Letran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garaile Tejeria in the 24th minute of play. montevideo FC's William Llaria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Moniz in the 40th minute of play. Bruno Piedrahita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Mendoza FC's Artal Tarulla got a free kick in the 44th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Garaile Tejeria in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gurutz Letran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Garaile Tejeria was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Mendoza FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Yago Correduria hit a great ball. William Llaria made an important save on a dangerous shot by Naike Barriola in the 58th minute. With his leg William Llaria managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Mendoza FC's Naike Barriola fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gurutz Letran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Piedrahita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute, one of Mendoza FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mendoza FC. Gurutz Letran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garaile Tejeria in the 74th minute of the match. In the 82ndth minute of the game Garaile Tejeria who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mendoza FC's Gurutz Letran was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Artal Tarulla fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mendoza FC's protests and gave Artal Tarulla a yellow card for diving instead. When Garaile Tejeria came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the montevideo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Garaile Tejeria couldn't finish the play. Garaile Tejeria might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gurutz Letran. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Garaile Tejeria ran back to his position shaking his head. Artal Tarulla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. montevideo FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Mendoza FC had controlled the match.
