Zeledon Torcida breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Javiar Randoli charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Javiar Randoli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Javiar Randoli kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Hilario Cadanes, 9 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Ler Oñaederra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saturnino Ampuero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ceferino Lubiano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Lluveras's goalkeeper Ceferino Lubiano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ler Oñaederra. In the 35th minute, Saturnino Ampuero reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ceferino Lubiano. The goal made the score 2-0. Ceferino Lubiano made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Ler Oñaederra sent off a good shot on target. Iyan Villalon might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zeledon Torcida. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iyan Villalon ran back to his position shaking his head. Ceferino Lubiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saturnino Ampuero, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

51 minutes into the match, Lluveras's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Ampuero came free, but Ceferino Lubiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saturnino Ampuero struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Ceferino Lubiano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Araujo. In the 66th minute, Saturnino Ampuero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ceferino Lubiano was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saturnino Ampuero in the 71st minute of play forced Lluveras's goalkeeper Ceferino Lubiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rdth minute of the game Saturnino Ampuero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lluveras's Ceferino Lubiano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Lluveras booed when Araujo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ler Oñaederra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ceferino Lubiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ler Oñaederra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
