Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Llin Preciado took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xove Vincens got free with Victoriano Ledo in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Victoriano Ledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Satordi Cuartas in the 7th minute of the match. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pedernal's goalkeeper Paulo Palomares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Serafo Serena came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Maronas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafo Serena couldn't finish the play. If Rene Sotorrio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Serafo Serena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Paulo Palomares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 16 minutes, Llin Preciado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maronas and the Pedernal players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Maronas getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Llin Preciado hit a great ball. Victoriano Ledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Satordi Cuartas, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. With a little luck, Maronas's Victoriano Ledo got control of the ball when Semeno Pandal tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 23 minutes, Llin Preciado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maronas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Llin Preciado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Serafo Serena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pedernal's goalkeeper Paulo Palomares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Joey Pastor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victoriano Ledo. Maronas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joey Pastor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Victoriano Ledo made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Xove Vincens sent off a good shot on target. Serafo Serena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the match, Maronas's Serafo Serena sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulo Palomares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Victoriano Ledo made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Semeno Pandal sent off a good shot on target. When Llin Preciado came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Maronas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Llin Preciado couldn't finish the play. In the 48th minute, Dalmai Cerrudemos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 49th minute, Caradaro Genova sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Maronas's Victoriano Ledo didn't even have to move.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Satordi Cuartas made a kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Satordi Cuartas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pedernal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Satordi Cuartas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Pedernal's zone, Llin Preciado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Palomares came out of the goal and Llin Preciado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Llin Preciado was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 57 minutes had been played. Victoriano Ledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Satordi Cuartas in the 59th minute of play. Victoriano Ledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Satordi Cuartas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute, one of Pedernal:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pedernal. The goalkeeper, Paulo Palomares, was totally fooled by Maronas's Rene Sotorrio, who 80 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Serafo Serena's late challenge caught a Pedernal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Serafo Serena helped the player get up and apologised. After 88 played minutes Maronas got a freekick which was hit by Filiberto Secanell. In the 89th minute, a hard, long distance shot from Caradaro Genova hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. Filiberto Secanell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Palomares having to interfere. After some careless play in the Maronas defense, Satordi Cuartas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victoriano Ledo. The Maronas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victoriano Ledo should have stopped the shot. Maronas's Victoriano Ledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Semeno Pandal in the 102nd minute of play. Pedernal were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Maronas for a fine match.
