The audience thought a goal was coming when Tadeo Condado got free with Niolaao Lorenzo in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Niolaao Lorenzo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tadeo Condado in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saturnin Ayon in the 33rd minute of play forced Paysandu FC's goalkeeper Niolaao Lorenzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteban Colomines couldn't finish the play. Marcones Damar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Tadeo Condado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Reynold's supporters rose to their feet, but Tadeo Condado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niolaao Lorenzo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 86 minutes into the match, Paysandu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnin Ayon came free, but Niolaao Lorenzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
