Spectators: 6720 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 0) Soriano's Fernendo Pedroza started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Enaut Rubion's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 3rdth minute, Pudes Manzano skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ciro Quintero struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Teofilio Veidazar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lavalleja FC. Lavalleja FC's Dei Monterros got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gauargi Miras kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Teofilio Veidazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dei Monterros in the 10th minute of the match. Dei Monterros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 17 minutes into the game, Fernendo Pedroza recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pudes Manzano. Fernendo Pedroza showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. With a little luck, Lavalleja FC's Pudes Manzano got control of the ball when Enaut Rubion tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lavalleja FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Fernendo Pedroza scored to the left of an out of position Pudes Manzano, making the score, 2-0. When Soriano's Fernendo Pedroza in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lavalleja FC's goalie prevented a goal. Fernendo Pedroza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Pudes Manzano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Lavalleja FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernendo Pedroza came free, but Pudes Manzano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd match minute, Lavalleja FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paublo Orantes to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ciro Quintero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Lavalleja FC booed when Soriano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constancio Alastuey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciro Quintero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofilio Veidazar having to interfere. Dei Monterros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teofilio Veidazar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. In the 60thth minute of the game Ciro Quintero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Soriano's Teofilio Veidazar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 61 played minutes Soriano got a freekick which was hit by Gauargi Miras. Enaut Rubion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pudes Manzano having to interfere. After having played for 66 minutes, Dei Monterros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lavalleja FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dei Monterros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 67 played minutes Soriano got a freekick which was hit by Gauargi Miras. Lavalleja FC's Pudes Manzano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enaut Rubion in the 74th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dei Monterros got free with Teofilio Veidazar in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Soriano's Teofilio Veidazar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Soriano from getting a goal against them. In the 88th minute Ciro Quintero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilio Veidazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 88 played minutes Soriano got a freekick which was hit by Gauargi Miras. Dei Monterros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofilio Veidazar having to interfere. Gauargi Miras kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Dei Monterros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Teofilio Veidazar made a huge save. Soriano's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
