Iigo Tormejon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rameriz Ybañez in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walme Magdaleno in the 11th minute of play forced Nacional's goalkeeper Dantel Ustoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dantel Ustoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walme Magdaleno in the 12th minute of the match. In the 13th minute Walme Magdaleno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dantel Ustoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nacional's Dantel Ustoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walme Magdaleno in the 15th minute of play. Iigo Tormejon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rameriz Ybañez in the 23rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Liberfad's Esquipula Cubian got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Rameriz Ybañez struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Iigo Tormejon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nacional. After a rather tough play, Liberfad's Feliciano Malta got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 38th minute Walme Magdaleno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dantel Ustoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute of the match Seme Figueruela sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dantel Ustoa skillfully saved the ball. With his leg Dantel Ustoa managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when Liberfad's Nofre Cerrillo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Walme Magdaleno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Baumer Guardamiño was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 53rd minute. Nacional's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Rameriz Ybañez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iigo Tormejon having to make a save. In the 71st minute of the match, Prejun Almuzara got a very nice opportunity to score, but Iigo Tormejon was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Esquipula Cubian charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Esquipula Cubian the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 73rd match minute, Liberfad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esquipula Cubian to maneuver through the defense. Iigo Tormejon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rameriz Ybañez in the 74th minute. After having played for 75 minutes, Rameriz Ybañez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nacional's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rameriz Ybañez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Huly Closa hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 81st match minute, Nacional was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prejun Almuzara to maneuver through the defense. Baumer Guardamiño recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. During the 90th minute of the match Esquipula Cubian completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Esquipula Cubian a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 91 played minutes Liberfad got a freekick which was hit by Esquipula Cubian. Baumer Guardamiño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dantel Ustoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nofre Cerrillo in the 94th minute of the match. Nacional's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
