Minuano FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Lizbeth Somellero scored to the left of an out of position Severino Antia, making the score, 5-0. A collision led to Minuano FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Henry Marquez hit a great ball. If Aron Zgrăbunţa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lizbeth Somellero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Antia having to interfere. Fabio Chillon's late challenge caught a Club Deportivo Artigas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabio Chillon helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th minute, Ariando Villayres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aron Zgrăbunţa was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aron Zgrăbunţa in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Severino Antia saved Minuano FC from getting behind. Minuano FC's Severino Antia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohamed Salah in the 60th minute of play. Aron Zgrăbunţa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute, Santxo Neriz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Severino Antia was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Emeterio Aldeis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquin Fuica in the 91st minute of the match. Severino Antia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santxo Neriz, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Aron Zgrăbunţa struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Severino Antia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Deportivo Artigas.
