If Felippe Molinillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Pasto's zone, Cordeara Belorado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iigo Encio came out of the goal and Cordeara Belorado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Aguirre booed when Deportivo Pasto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florian Villar didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosario Palenzuela in the 34th minute of play forced Deportivo Pasto's goalkeeper Iigo Encio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bizi Bidaurre kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rosario Palenzuela made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Cordeara Belorado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aguirre fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 63rd minute, one of Deportivo Pasto:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Deportivo Pasto. Laureano Berda walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Benigno Goicoolea kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Cordeara Belorado notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Deportivo Pasto's Iigo Encio. Iigo Encio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Justo Lape didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Pasto. Aguirre's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
