The referee showed Edson Villamizar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Scavino AFC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Edson Villamizar hit a great ball. Montrel Freixes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fidel Colmenero in the 11th minute. Mikolas Puntones made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taurino Cortaza in the 15th minute of play. Scavino AFC's Montrel Freixes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorencio Estebanes in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorencio Estebanes in the 18th minute of play forced Scavino AFC's goalkeeper Montrel Freixes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Scavino AFC's Montrel Freixes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Scavino AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 20th minute, Scavino AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lorencio Estebanes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 23 minutes into the game, one of Acegua:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The supporters of Scavino AFC booed when Acegua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Sampayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emeterio Villalaud kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match.

The wind increased when Taurino Cortaza made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Taurino Cortaza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Scavino AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Taurino Cortaza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mikolas Puntones breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Acegua's Mikolas Puntones got control of the ball when Ralondo Agüera tried to sneak it across the goal line.
