After recieving a nice pass, Coion's Cuartio Turres tried to score from far away in the 18th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Mano Urones managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lapuente AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mano Urones was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xurxo Ciscal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Iaki Goñi was shown his second yellow card after 29 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Kemen Herrezuelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osorio Trejo having to interfere.
