Spectators: 6698 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1698, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Xayveon Morquecho made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in Chamberlain AFC's zone, Ricart Peñalba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teofilio Candolias came out of the goal and Ricart Peñalba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ciano Canel charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ciano Canel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Chamberlain AFC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Ciano Canel hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Weather Santirso in the 8th minute of play forced Chamberlain AFC's goalkeeper Teofilio Candolias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Llin Hurtado fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chamberlain AFC's protests and gave Llin Hurtado a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th minute, Llin Hurtado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 12 minutes, Ricart Peñalba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Defensa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricart Peñalba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14thth minute of the game Ricart Peñalba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chamberlain AFC's Teofilio Candolias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Weather Santirso hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After having played for 18 minutes, Llin Hurtado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chamberlain AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Llin Hurtado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Weather Santirso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teofilio Candolias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute Ricart Peñalba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilio Candolias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Xayveon Morquecho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teofilio Candolias was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. After having played for 24 minutes, Ricart Peñalba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Defensa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricart Peñalba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Weather Santirso came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Defensa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Weather Santirso couldn't finish the play. In the 32nd minute Ricart Peñalba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilio Candolias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rdth minute of the game Xayveon Morquecho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chamberlain AFC's Teofilio Candolias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Chamberlain AFC booed when Defensa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Weather Santirso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teofilio Candolias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricart Peñalba in the 44th minute of play. Defensa's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Ciano Canel scored to the left of an out of position Xarles Arruta, making the score, 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Caitano Bidaurre to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Weather Santirso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Teofilio Candolias. That made the score 1-3 in the 51 minute of play. Weather Santirso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Teofilio Candolias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Defensa booed when Chamberlain AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciano Canel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Weather Santirso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xayveon Morquecho had several of the Chamberlain AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 61 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-4 score and a disappointed Teofilio Candolias as he didn't even see the shot coming. 67 minutes into the game, Ricart Peñalba cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Teofilio Candolias was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Teofilio Candolias made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Weather Santirso sent off a good shot on target. When Xayveon Morquecho fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Defensa's protests and gave Xayveon Morquecho a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd minute, Xayveon Morquecho fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Xayveon Morquecho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xayveon Morquecho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Teofilio Candolias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xayveon Morquecho in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teofilio Candolias saved Chamberlain AFC from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricart Peñalba got free with Teofilio Candolias in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 90 minutes into the match, Chamberlain AFC's goalkeeper Teofilio Candolias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Weather Santirso. Weather Santirso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Teofilio Candolias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teofilio Candolias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xayveon Morquecho in the 95th minute of the match. After having played for 97 minutes, Xayveon Morquecho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Defensa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xayveon Morquecho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Defensa's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
