The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Socorro Yribarren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Campana FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Socorro Yribarren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eleuterio Rigues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Campana FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Uxio Canillas hit a great ball. Remir Rojo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Domenec Herbella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eleuterio Rigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Socorro Yribarren in the 26th minute of play. Campana FC's Domenec Herbella proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Campana FC from getting a goal against them. 30 minutes into the match, Campana FC's goal looked a bit too open when Remir Rojo came free, but Domenec Herbella reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Socorro Yribarren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Urtsin Aguillar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cerrito AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Urtsin Aguillar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domenec Herbella breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Domenec Herbella made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remir Rojo in the 52nd minute of play. Eleuterio Rigues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jusepe Lamadrid in the 62nd minute of the match. Xavon Resamano hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Jusepe Lamadrid struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Eleuterio Rigues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Campana FC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jusepe Lamadrid in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eleuterio Rigues saved Cerrito AFC from getting behind. Domenec Herbella showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remir Rojo in the 76th minute of the match. Remir Rojo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. One of Cerrito AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Campana FC:s goal. Uxio Canillas walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
