Dayam Mota scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Petri Ayala, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Txindoki Cortinas made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Lalla Casias sent off a good shot on target. Petri Ayala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urbasa Masbernat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23rd play minutes Marques Taranco shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Petri Ayala and just under the crossbar into goal. 28 minutes into the game, Bonifaco Sedeño was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Buenahora's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Espinillo FC the free kick. A collision led to Buenahora getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Bonifaco Sedeño hit a great ball. Urbasa Masbernat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Petri Ayala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Espinillo FC's Petri Ayala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dayam Mota in the 38th minute of play. After having played for 41 minutes, Lalla Casias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Espinillo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lalla Casias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Lalla Casias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Buenahora were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Urbasa Masbernat made the kick off in the second half. If Dayam Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 55 played minutes Espinillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Sancho Rendueles. After having played for 59 minutes, Urbasa Masbernat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buenahora's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urbasa Masbernat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dayam Mota's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Petri Ayala read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. A collision led to Buenahora getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Boni Nueva hit a great ball. After having played for 74 minutes, Bruno Barbari managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Espinillo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Barbari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urbasa Masbernat in the 78th minute of play forced Espinillo FC's goalkeeper Petri Ayala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Lalla Casias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Txindoki Cortinas. Buenahora's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lalla Casias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After having played for 86 minutes, Lalla Casias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Espinillo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lalla Casias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Urbasa Masbernat was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 91st minute. Buenahora's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sancho Rendueles in the 98th minute of play forced Buenahora's goalkeeper Txindoki Cortinas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Buenahora walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
