Spectators: 7351 (Terracing: 5514, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 147) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bruno Barbari took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Hernan Cardarda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 3 played minutes Espinillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Sancho Rendueles. Espinillo FC's Petri Ayala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Cardarda in the 5th minute of play. After 6 played minutes Club Atletico El Pinar got a freekick which was hit by Nikola Cuadrado. The audience was convinced that Bruno Barbari's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Norberto Leiro was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. In the 11th minute, Lalla Casias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sancho Rendueles hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 22nd match minute, Club Atletico El Pinar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Indar Gorvea to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, Espinillo FC's Faron Lertora broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Norberto Leiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lalla Casias, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute, Club Atletico El Pinar's Hernan Cardarda dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 31 minutes into the match, Club Atletico El Pinar's goal looked a bit too open when Lalla Casias came free, but Norberto Leiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hernan Cardarda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petri Ayala having to interfere. Lalla Casias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hernan Cardarda was extremely unlucky when he, in the 46th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hernan Cardarda to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atletico El Pinar's goalkeeper Norberto Leiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Club Atletico El Pinar getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Uhin Izaran hit a great ball. Bruno Barbari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Leiro having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico El Pinar's Celino Landazuri got a free kick in the 61st minute. Lalla Casias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Club Atletico El Pinar's Norberto Leiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Barbari in the 66th minute of play. After some careless play in the Espinillo FC defense, Hernan Cardarda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Petri Ayala. The Espinillo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Petri Ayala should have stopped the shot. In the 75th minute, Hulberto Infante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Espinillo FC's Faron Lertora shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 76th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Norberto Leiro but with some difficulty. Lalla Casias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Barbari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Leiro having to interfere. Igon Villanueva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lalla Casias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Norberto Leiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Celino Landazuri during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 94 minutes into the game, Bruno Barbari recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Norberto Leiro. Bruno Barbari showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Espinillo FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Club Atletico El Pinar had won, even though Espinillo FC had held more of the ball.
