Prejun Galdo's late challenge caught a Santiago's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Prejun Galdo helped the player get up and apologised. 3 minutes into the game, one of Ghoul Gang Slaughters:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Santiago a penalty, 5 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Vincente Devalla, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ghoul Gang Slaughters's Tomas Cicero. 1-0. When Tadzio Torices fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ghoul Gang Slaughters's protests and gave Tadzio Torices a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Santiago booed when Ghoul Gang Slaughters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadzio Torices didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romo Barahona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Piearres Fuertes having to interfere. Fabio Aniego struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Piearres Fuertes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ghoul Gang Slaughters. 21 minutes into the game, Gauargi Moro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santiago's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ghoul Gang Slaughters the free kick. After a rather tough play, Santiago's Gauargi Moro got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 25th minute Gauargi Moro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Cicero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Ospetsu Urquia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Piearres Fuertes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 31 minutes into the match, Gauargi Moro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tomas Cicero, 2-1. Piearres Fuertes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felo Erosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Aniego in the 37th minute of play forced Santiago's goalkeeper Piearres Fuertes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ospetsu Urquia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Piearres Fuertes having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Romo Barahona was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Santiago's goalkeeper Piearres Fuertes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ospetsu Urquia. In the 57th minute, Sadurni Berga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Romo Barahona kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Piearres Fuertes. That made the score 2-3 in the 60 minute of play. When Leo Gijon fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ghoul Gang Slaughters's protests and gave Leo Gijon a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th minute, Gauargi Moro made a precise shot to the right of Tomas Cicero. Ghoul Gang Slaughters's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. Piearres Fuertes made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Ospetsu Urquia sent off a good shot on target. Bidari Escrig's late challenge caught a Ghoul Gang Slaughters's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bidari Escrig helped the player get up and apologised. Bidari Escrig hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Santiago's zone, Romo Barahona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Piearres Fuertes came out of the goal and Romo Barahona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ospetsu Urquia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Piearres Fuertes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ospetsu Urquia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 92nd match minute, Santiago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gauargi Moro to maneuver through the defense. If Sadurni Berga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Piearres Fuertes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felo Erosa in the 97th minute of the match. Ghoul Gang Slaughters played a much better game than Santiago and deserved their victory. The Santiago players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
