Xurde Almendras charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xurde Almendras the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bras Castellon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcones Bravain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute Garaona Lorza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillerme Borica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guillerme Borica didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wilfredo Viado went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Garaona Lorza struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Guillerme Borica didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Jovani Vázquez. The CD Jovani Vázquez fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bras Castellon should have stopped the shot. Guillerme Borica made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Garaona Lorza sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Lapuente's Guillerme Borica got control of the ball when Joachim Goyo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lapuente's Guillerme Borica proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Lapuente from getting a goal against them.
