After 7 played minutes Colonia FC got a freekick which was hit by Lauaxeta Aizaran. Ysmael Juez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florin Cabarcos, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. With a little luck, Vichadero's Bruno Pieres got control of the ball when Lauaxeta Aizaran tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Vichadero getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Xove Perma hit a great ball. In the 24th minute, Salomone Mencia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 0-2 became the score in the 26th minute when Enmanuel Gopegui elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A collision led to Vichadero getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Xove Perma hit a great ball. Colonia FC's Lauaxeta Aizaran got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Santxol Moreta kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Florin Cabarcos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ysmael Juez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Salomone Mencia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florin Cabarcos in the 61st minute of play forced Colonia FC's goalkeeper Ysmael Juez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Colonia FC booed when Vichadero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ihazintu Raigal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Colonia FC's Santxol Moreta tried to score from far away in the 65th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Vichadero's Ihazintu Raigal got a free kick in the 66th minute. Bruno Pieres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salomone Mencia in the 69th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Vichadero's Ysmael Juez threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Florin Cabarcos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Enmanuel Gopegui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lauaxeta Aizaran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Salomone Mencia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Bruno Pieres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute Lauaxeta Aizaran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Pieres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enmanuel Gopegui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 92 minutes, Enmanuel Gopegui managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vichadero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enmanuel Gopegui was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lauaxeta Aizaran in the 96th minute of play forced Vichadero's goalkeeper Bruno Pieres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Vichadero supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vichadero would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
