A well-hit corner resulted in Felo Canido heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Lorenz Rengifo's late challenge caught a Ceferino's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lorenz Rengifo helped the player get up and apologised. 19 minutes into the game, Roland Tricio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Mel Avendaño was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Lluciano Guera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, Lluciano Guera fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Lluciano Guera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Ceferino's goalkeeper Efren Toraño had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lore Calderon. Camano's Mel Avendaño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Tricio in the 39th minute of play. Efren Toraño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lluciano Guera in the 40th minute of play. Roland Tricio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 47 minutes, Birjaio Corcuera made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Camano's Mel Avendaño tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roland Tricio was the one to do the kick off. After 66 minutes of play, Camano's Quentin Urquioja made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Efren Toraño was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 69 minutes, Roland Tricio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ceferino's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roland Tricio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Camano's Mel Avendaño proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Camano from getting a goal against them. Roland Tricio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Tricio in the 74th minute of play forced Camano's goalkeeper Mel Avendaño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Efren Toraño showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lore Calderon, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ceferino's goalkeeper Efren Toraño, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Ceferino booed when Camano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felo Canido didn't get a good kick on the ball. Birjaio Corcuera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Mel Avendaño made a huge save. If Lluciano Guera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ceferino eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
