Mosquitos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aresti Navedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Berruti's goalkeeper Froila Regalado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mosquitos's Iztal Guim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Mosquitos from getting a goal against them. Berruti's Froila Regalado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aresti Navedo in the 30th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Berruti's Melquiades Igarza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iztal Guim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Juaneizu Arista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 45th minute, Santutxo Reyes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iztal Guim went to the wrong direction when Cerilo Llera was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aresti Navedo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Justin Blanco during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Berruti's Justin Blanco got a free kick in the 54th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Aresti Navedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mosquitos's supporters rose to their feet, but Aresti Navedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Froila Regalado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Berruti's Froila Regalado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aresti Navedo in the 59th minute of play. Iztal Guim came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Berruti's Melquiades Igarza. But to his dismay, Melquiades Igarza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Juaneizu Arista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Berruti's supporters rose to their feet, but Juaneizu Arista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iztal Guim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Baleren Treviño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Berruti getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Jurdan Fueyo hit a great ball. Mosquitos's Iztal Guim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jurdan Fueyo in the 95th minute of play. Mosquitos succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Berruti had controlled the match.
