An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorio Rioja in the 9th minute of play forced Abrojal FC's goalkeeper Gilabert Fresno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilabert Fresno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quin Payueta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Quin Payueta came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Sometedores de U fans jumped to their feet. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Honorio Rioja sped through Abrojal FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gilabert Fresno. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuxila Guilizasti in the 21st minute of play forced Sometedores de U's goalkeeper Isias Galdamiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Evaristo Monelo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Isias Galdamiz. Evaristo Monelo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. A collision led to Abrojal FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Fabricio Checa hit a great ball. Honorio Rioja struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Gilabert Fresno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sometedores de U. In the 29th match minute, Abrojal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabricio Checa to maneuver through the defense. Quin Payueta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Gilabert Fresno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 33 played minutes Abrojal FC got a freekick which was hit by Gabirel Mostache. Quin Payueta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilabert Fresno having to interfere. If Quin Payueta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Quin Payueta in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilabert Fresno saved Abrojal FC from getting behind. Quin Payueta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the match, Abrojal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Honorio Rioja came free, but Gilabert Fresno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nuxila Guilizasti was the one to do the kick off. Txindoki Ulloa's late challenge caught a Abrojal FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nuxila Guilizasti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isias Galdamiz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. After 95 minutes of play, Abrojal FC's Evaristo Monelo made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isias Galdamiz was left in no man's land by his defense there! For all the effort they put into the match, the Sometedores de U players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Abrojal FC.
