Rivera's Xurde Rogel got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, Laureles's goal looked a bit too open when Xurde Rogel came free, but Marcelino Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelino Mendes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frisco Portero in the 27th minute of the match. Kaiet Oñatibia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rufio Villaluenga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelino Mendes came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Rivera's Frisco Portero. But to his dismay, Frisco Portero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Laureles's Marcelino Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frisco Portero in the 36th minute of play. Frisco Portero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute Frisco Portero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelino Mendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jose Calvon kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frisco Portero to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Rivera's goal looked a bit too open when Martxot Liendo came free, but Kaiet Oñatibia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Rivera booed when Laureles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fix Sagrario didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute, Frisco Portero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Laureles getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Laurendi Alayz hit a great ball. After 77 minutes, Yaniusky Ansures mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Laureles and the Rivera players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rivera's Nel Iribarria shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 78th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Marcelino Mendes but with some difficulty. In the 91st match minute, Rivera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beltza Salais to maneuver through the defense. 93 minutes into the match, Rivera's goal looked a bit too open when Pero Arena came free, but Kaiet Oñatibia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Rivera's goal looked a bit too open when Rufio Villaluenga came free, but Kaiet Oñatibia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
