Spectators: 7303 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Javiar Hesles started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the game, Reno Vidaurre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Riachuelo AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lapuente the free kick. Reno Vidaurre hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. If Fernando Gandarias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernat Viles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hilario Aristeguieta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15thth minute of the game Hilario Aristeguieta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Riachuelo AFC's Bernat Viles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Santana Rogel hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute, Fernando Gandarias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 24th minute, Lapuente's Hartz Vidarte seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Hartz Vidarte the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Lapuente protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Hartz Vidarte had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Hartz Vidarte hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Txaran Liaño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Crescencio Ardines, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Crescencio Ardines came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Riachuelo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Crescencio Ardines couldn't finish the play. Bernat Viles made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Fernando Gandarias sent off a good shot on target. In the 37th minute, Castel Mateu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Txaran Liaño showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Borniquell, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Riachuelo AFC's zone, Javiar Hesles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernat Viles came out of the goal and Javiar Hesles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, Lapuente's Bernat Viles threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Javiar Hesles, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some careless play in the Riachuelo AFC defense, Javiar Hesles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernat Viles. The Riachuelo AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernat Viles should have stopped the shot. Fernando Gandarias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 47 minutes of play Riachuelo AFC's Reno Vidaurre was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 48th minute, Reno Vidaurre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodrigo Borniquell made a kick off. Fernando Gandarias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernando Gandarias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernat Viles having to interfere. In the 55th match minute, Riachuelo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Crescencio Ardines to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Riachuelo AFC's zone, Javiar Hesles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernat Viles came out of the goal and Javiar Hesles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 63 minutes into the match, Riachuelo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Javiar Hesles came free, but Bernat Viles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute Javiar Hesles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernat Viles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernando Gandarias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodrigo Borniquell charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodrigo Borniquell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bernat Viles came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Lapuente's Javiar Hesles. But to his dismay, Javiar Hesles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Lain Zuniga hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Riachuelo AFC's Aristides Echavarri shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 77th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Txaran Liaño but with some difficulty. Rodrigo Borniquell kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Bernat Viles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Gandarias in the 87th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Crescencio Ardines hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Javiar Hesles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernat Viles was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Fernando Gandarias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Bernat Viles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
