Spectators: 6690 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Beti Bocos kicked off to start the match. When Eduardo Carne came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Tacuarembo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Carne couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Bernardo Chirivoga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tacuarembo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo Chirivoga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tabby Arceo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 6 played minutes Tacuarembo FC got a freekick which was hit by Galsino Hurones. Luciano Rado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beti Bocos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Pedernal FC's Luciano Rado threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Beti Bocos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 17 minutes into the match, Tacuarembo FC's goalkeeper Luciano Rado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Calisto Sagrario. Luciano Rado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gai Pilas in the 19th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Pedernal FC's zone, Bernardo Chirivoga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tabby Arceo came out of the goal and Bernardo Chirivoga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tabby Arceo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Carne, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. If Bernardo Chirivoga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Eduardo Carne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Chirivoga in the 32nd minute of play forced Pedernal FC's goalkeeper Tabby Arceo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tabby Arceo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Chirivoga in the 41st minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Eduardo Carne left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tacuarembo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 47 played minutes Tacuarembo FC got a freekick which was hit by Piearres Lasalde. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Beti Bocos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Rado having to interfere. Bernardo Chirivoga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Tabby Arceo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute Calisto Sagrario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Rado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luciano Rado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calisto Sagrario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tacuarembo FC's Bernardo Chirivoga got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tacuarembo FC's Luciano Rado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beti Bocos in the 77th minute of play. After some careless play in the Tacuarembo FC defense, Beti Bocos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luciano Rado. The Tacuarembo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luciano Rado should have stopped the shot. Nafarroa Correa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Tabby Arceo made a huge save. In the 83rd minute Calisto Sagrario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Rado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bernardo Chirivoga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eduardo Carne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th minute, Bernardo Chirivoga made a precise shot to the right of Tabby Arceo. Pedernal FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Bernardo Chirivoga struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Tabby Arceo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tacuarembo FC.
