Seating: 1710, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Remigio Osaviaga kicked off to start the match. Quintan Soto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oriol Rosines in the 3rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Piamontesa's zone, Remigio Osaviaga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ambrosio Deleon came out of the goal and Remigio Osaviaga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Piamontesa getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Goi Amenabar hit a great ball. Celso Basanta was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 14th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Piamontesa's zone, Lixandro Paracuellos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ambrosio Deleon came out of the goal and Lixandro Paracuellos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 38th minute, Rosalio Lemayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute, Celso Basanta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lixandro Paracuellos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ambrosio Deleon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The wind increased when Oriol Rosines made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Oriol Rosines recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Quintan Soto. In the 59th minute, Lixandro Paracuellos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Lixandro Paracuellos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Caradaro Pallares came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Piamontesa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caradaro Pallares couldn't finish the play. Oriol Rosines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caradaro Pallares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abayuba walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
