Itapebi's Padro Garmendia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Transito Serna in the 16th minute of play. When Transito Serna came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Palmitas AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Transito Serna couldn't finish the play. When Hechter Mancebo fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Itapebi's protests and gave Hechter Mancebo a yellow card for diving instead. Hechter Mancebo kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Palmitas AFC's Castel Rubi couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Itapebi. Padro Garmendia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Transito Serna's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute, Hechter Mancebo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gar Leon during the 36th minute. In the 43rd minute, Itapebi's Daunte Carrandi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Elequemedo Busquet. Elequemedo Busquet yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnulfo Regules made a kick off. Transito Serna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Padro Garmendia having to interfere. Arnulfo Regules recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daunte Carrandi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elequemedo Busquet having to interfere. Elequemedo Busquet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Regules in the 81st minute of play. Transito Serna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Palmitas AFC's Padro Garmendia threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Transito Serna, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Arnulfo Regules had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Hanot Lorenzana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hanot Lorenzana in the 98thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Padro Garmendia, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Itapebi had won after a very even match.
