Spectators: 6691 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1691, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sancho Galantia got the match started through his kick off. Durazno AFC's Inaki Celama played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Barrial in the 2nd minute of play. After 3 played minutes Durazno AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cruz Robires. In the 4th match minute, Durazno AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cloyo Luaces to maneuver through the defense. If Silverio Paul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Goren Galo hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cabellos's zone, Sancho Galantia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juango Atencio came out of the goal and Sancho Galantia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Berasko Tarrero got free with Inaki Celama in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 24 minutes into the match, Herminio Barrial dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Inaki Celama, 1-0. In the 35th minute Sancho Galantia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juango Atencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 39 minutes, Salbatore Villamor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Durazno AFC and the Cabellos players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 38th minute of the game. One of Durazno AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cabellos:s goal. Juango Atencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silverio Paul in the 45th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Herminio Barrial made a kick off. Silverio Paul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juango Atencio having to interfere. Rodolfo Lariz charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodolfo Lariz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Cabellos's Rodolfo Lariz got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 58th match minute, Cabellos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaur Bascones to maneuver through the defense. Cloyo Luaces, 59 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to Durazno AFC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Eduardo Dorado hit a great ball. When Herminio Barrial came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Cabellos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herminio Barrial couldn't finish the play. Juango Atencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sancho Galantia in the 69th minute of the match. Rodolfo Lariz hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. A collision led to Cabellos getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Goren Galo hit a great ball. If Berasko Tarrero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sancho Galantia was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 78th minute. Durazno AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Inaki Celama showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berasko Tarrero, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Berasko Tarrero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Herminio Barrial came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Cabellos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herminio Barrial couldn't finish the play. Durazno AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
