Spectators: 6706 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1706, VIP seats: 0) Durazno AFC's Sancho Galantia started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Vennancio Laserna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. In the 11thth minute of the game Vennancio Laserna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Durazno AFC's Inaki Celama was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Durazno AFC booed when Platero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Innocenzio Barredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Sancho Galantia came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Durazno AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sancho Galantia couldn't finish the play. Silverio Paul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Platero's Innocenzio Barredo got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute, Sancho Galantia fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Cuartio Torga, passed just outside the right post. Platero's Cuartio Torga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Platero from getting a goal against them. After 30 played minutes Durazno AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bide Brochero. Platero's Innocenzio Barredo got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 34 played minutes Durazno AFC got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Dorado. After taking down the ball on Platero's corner Xabat Ocio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Inaki Celama quite easily take care of the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Durazno AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Vennancio Laserna came free, but Inaki Celama reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Inaki Celama showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vennancio Laserna, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. When Platero's Pacifico Soveron in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Pacifico Soveron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Platero's supporters rose to their feet, but Pacifico Soveron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Inaki Celama breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Vennancio Laserna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vennancio Laserna in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Inaki Celama prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Salbatore Villamor tried in the game's 69th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Inaki Celama. An annoying self made goal, 0-1. Inaki Celama took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egoitz Tartales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vennancio Laserna received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Inaki Celama came out and tried to block the shot, but Vennancio Laserna slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 77th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Vennancio Laserna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Platero's supporters rose to their feet, but Vennancio Laserna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Inaki Celama breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Inaki Celama came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Platero's Pacifico Soveron. But to his dismay, Pacifico Soveron quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The audience was convinced that Vennancio Laserna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Inaki Celama was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Cuartio Torga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sancho Galantia, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When Platero's Vennancio Laserna in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Durazno AFC's goalie prevented a goal. When the match was over Platero could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Durazno AFC throughout the match.
