With his leg Marino Munaya managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Curtina AFC's Silverio Carranza fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when George Mañueco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Zion's Zarbonin Burell slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Txaran Pujargimon. That made the score 1-2 after 54 minutes of play. The supporters of Curtina AFC booed when Zion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marino Munaya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Mañueco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. George Mañueco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. George Mañueco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Marino Munaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marino Munaya didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from George Mañueco went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Txaran Pujargimon made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Zarbonin Burell sent off a good shot on target. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Curtina AFC fully deserved thier win.
